EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) is a fun and strategic way to experience the Pokémon Trading Card Game, inspired by the idea of becoming a true Gym Leader! In this format, players build a deck around a single Pokémon type – just like a Gym Leader would in the games. To participate, Trainers must bring their own GLC deck that follows the official deck-building rules listed below.

The GLC format celebrates creativity, strategy, and balance. With no multi-copy decks or powerful Rule Box Pokémon, every battle feels unique and rewards smart deck-building, clever plays, and deep knowledge of your chosen type.

All Trainers will earn a Booster Pack and Prize Points for participating, with additional Prize Points awarded to those Trainers that come out on top.
