Main Events

The Main Events are the heart of every Regional Championship. Players compete in official Pokémon tournaments across multiple games: Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Pokémon Video Game (VG), and Pokémon GO. Both TCG and VG feature three age divisions – Juniors, Seniors, and Masters – so players compete against others in their age group.

The Main Events are held over two days. Strong performances on Day 1 can qualify players for Day 2, where the top competitors battle for the Championship title. In addition to the thrill of competition, players earn Championship Points based on their results. These points track progress throughout the season and help players qualify for the Pokémon World Championships.

Whether you’re aiming for the top or just testing your skills against other Trainers, the main events offer a chance to experience structured competitive play, win prizes, and be part of an exciting Pokémon community.

For those interested in learning more about competitive play, full resources and details are available through the Play! Pokémon Program.

Prize Wall

One of the most exciting parts of Side Events is the Prize Wall! Every time you participate – and especially when you win – you’ll earn Prize Points. These points can be saved throughout the weekend and exchanged at the Prize Wall for a variety of special rewards, including Pokémon merchandise, Booster Packs, and other awesome prizes.

With so many different activities to try, it’s easy to collect points while enjoying Side Events. The Prize Wall is a highlight of the event for both new and experienced players, offering a tangible reward for every match and making every battle even more thrilling.

Whether you’re chasing a big win or just having fun, the Prize Wall adds an extra layer of excitement to the weekend and is a must-visit for every Pokémon Trainer!

Collect and Trade

On Sunday, designated tables will be set aside just for trading, giving players and collectors a safe and welcoming space to swap cards, show off their collections, and hunt for missing pieces for their decks or binders.

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other Pokémon Trainers and share your love of the game. Trading is a fun way to meet new friends, complete your sets, and celebrate the Pokémon community!

Spectate Games

Coming to the Pokémon Regional Championships as a spectator is a blast! Watch some of the best players compete in Pokémon TCG, Video Game, and Pokémon GO, with exciting moments and big plays happening all day long.

Cheer for your favorite players, see high-level strategies in action, and soak in the energy of a live tournament. Even if you’re new to competitive play, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s always something fun to watch.
